Die Datteln werden in Tunesien ab September geerntet. Um den Dattelsirup zu erhalten, werden die Datteln entsteint, in Wasser eingelegt und anschließend eingekocht. Im letzten Arbeitsschritt werden sie filtriert und konzentriert. So entsteht die markante dunkle Farbe. Das Produkt ist also zu 100% natürlich.
